Seabury Nursing & Rehabilitation Hires Silvia Casas as New Administrator

Seabury Nursing & Rehabilitation is excited to announce that Silvia Casas has been hired as the facility’s new Administrator.

Silvia is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and has been since 1991. Silvia has lived in Odessa most of her life. She graduated from Odessa High School and attended Odessa College. Silvia enjoys spending time with her three daughters and two granddaughters. She also enjoys volunteering. She has volunteered through United Way and was a board member of Catholic Charities for seven years. She is currently a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and volunteers with that organization. Her responsibilities at Seabury Nursing & Rehabilitation will include overseeing all of the day-to-day aspects of running a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. Silvia said she is happy to be a part of Seabury Nursing & Rehabilitation and looks forward to working with the employees at the facility and ensuring the residents are getting the best care.

“I am happy to be part of such a great team here at Seabury Nursing & Rehabilitation,” Silvia said. “I want to really get involved in the community and let them know of our newly remodeled rooms in addition to a spacious therapy gym. I feel we have a lot to offer, whether it be short stay or long-term. It is such a comfortable, attractive setting with one of the best care teams. I want everyone to feel like they have a family here.”

Michael Vasquez, Director of Nursing, said Silvia is experienced and will be a positive leader and great asset to the Seabury Nursing & Rehabilitation community. “Her skills, experience and talent combined with her genuine compassion for the residents and staff will contribute to the success of the facility and well-being of the residents,” Michael said. “She will lift the staff higher and encourage them to do their best work every day.”
